Assistance during Natural calamities

To spearhead and lead selfless rescue and assistance campaigns during times of catastrophes and disasters. S.M.A.R.T. foundation also seeks to encourage both government and non-government organizations to unite and lend each other a helping hand at times of natural calamities and unprecedented devastating events without bias and racism.

Promoting Education


To provide assistance and opportunity to students and those who seeks knowledge and education. S.M.A.R.T. Foundation believes that the first step to becoming a discipline and well-mannered citizen is through education. Through projects such as upgrading schools and other learning facilities, S.M.A.R.T. foundation creates an environment for children where learning is right not a privilege.

Development of culture and arts


To enhance and further develop the country’s culture and arts by encouraging local craftsman and artist to hone their artistic skills and craft. S.M.A.R.T. Foundation supports the development of culture and arts by promoting local Filipino talents through films, art exhibits and other means of exposure.

Development of technology and research

To support the development of the country’s technology and research by sharing advance studies, equipment and facilities to rural areas which are deprived of modern day amenities and services. In line with the foundation’s mission to promote education and learning, S.M.A.R.T. foundation conducts seminars and workshops about the latest technological and industrial trend to provincial areas which would help rural communities to prosper.


Every foundation started with a dream, an aspiration and a goal. Super Mario Alleviation and Response Team was created with one single motivating initiative: to give a helping hand to every Filipino in need. At the helm of this benevolent foundation is a businessman, environmentalist, artist and philanthropist: Mario Marcos. Super Mario Alleviation and Response Team or S.M.A.R.T. Foundation was established on September 23rd of 2015, but even before the foundation was formed Mario has already been providing aid and assistance to the less fortunate.



The founder, Mario Marcos is a member of Pugad Lawin a non-profit, Non-governmental organization composed of socio-civic leaders, entrepreneurs, businessmen and professionals who believe in providing assistance to the less fortune especially during times of calamities. He was part of the Pugad Lawin group in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya for two years, helping his fellow Filipinos through humanitarian projects and programs. He continued to provide assistance for the poor and less fortunate when he moved to Luzon. For 21 years he has been giving gift and rice to indigent families all over the metro during Christmas. On September 23rd, he finally decided to formally establish his foundation: Super Mario Alleviation and Response Team. The foundation was established at 15 Avenue, Cubao where it began several operations and initiated altruistic projects for the poor.



S.M.A.R.T. Foundation spearheaded several projects including Donate Blood Save Life, a bloodletting campaign in Albay. When Typhoon Nina devastated lbay, S.M.A.R.T. Foundation initiated a relief good operation and donated rice and other supplies to the victims of the typhoon.



S.M.A.R.T. Foundation plans to bolster their resources and manpower in providing assistance during calamities by conducting disaster response assistance training programs and procuring additional equipment and supplies for rescue operations. The foundation will also be launching mobile clinics that will regularly conduct medical and health operations in poverty stricken areas.
